File Set-Up
All files submitted must meet the following Guidelines:
- Files must be the correct size listed on the price list. For example, a 1/4 page flyer must be submitted as 4.25" x 5.5".
- Files must havea minimum resolution of 300dpi. If original design was done at 72dpi, you can not go back and convert it to 300 dpi.
- Text and critical images must be kept in a minimum of 1/8" from the edge or border of the design. 1/8" is the absolute minimum we allow. However it is highly recommended that you leave 1/4" from the border. This gives the machine enough space to cut without cutting off important information from your flyer.
- The front and Back must be two separate files.
- Files must be in CMYK format not RGB. When you convert an RGB file to CMYK, the colors tend to shift to a darker shade. Some colors shift more than others.
- Acceptable file formats are JPG, TIF, AI, EPS (flattened, text converted to outline and seved as version 8) PSD and PDF.
